The MWSS calls on residents southwest of Metro Manila to prepare for the 21-day rotational service interruption from November 1-21, 2020, when the PAGCOR Pumping Station in Barangay Tambo, Paranaque undergoes seismic retrofitting enhancements. The enhancements are part of Maynilad’s program to reduce failure probability, reduce consequences from failures, and reduce time to recovery in case of an earthquake.
Scheduled rotational interruption where low pressure to no water will be experienced in some barangays of Las Pinas (12 hours); Bacoor (10 hours); and Imus (14 hours) currently being serviced by the PAGCOR Pumping Station:

Affected residents are advised to store only enough water during the interruption period and let water flow briefly upon the water service resumption.
There may be a delay in water service resumption due to elevation, distance from the pump station, and withdrawal volume from the mainlines. Water tankers by Maynilad will be on standby and ready to deliver potable water to affected areas as needed.
