On 20 December 2021, the MWSS Corporate Office, through the diligent efforts of the Water and Sewerage Management Department, Maynilad Water Services, Inc., Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Local Government of Cavite City, and Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the Mount Sea Resort for the three (3)-units communal septic tank in Brgy. 8, Dalahican, Cavite City. The responsibility of MWSS and Maynilad in the agreement is to provide monthly desludging services of the communal septic tanks until a sewer network has been constructed within the area.

With the signing of the MOA, MWSS ensures sufficient sewerage and sanitation services within its Service Area as stated in its mandate of uninterrupted and adequate supply and distribution of potable water and proper operation and maintenance of sewerage systems.
