One of the main characteristics of the treatment plant is the advanced treatment of raw water coming from Laguna de Bay, using a process called reverse osmosis to deliver clean drinking water with a very low carbon footprint. Laguna De Bay is the biggest lake in the Philippines and the second-biggest inland freshwater lake in South-East Asia.
